If my hair gets any frizzier, I’ll shave it to the scalp. Or light it on fire.

About the book

'I wrote Fire & Flood after reading a young adult thriller that I adored. I wanted to emulate that break-neck pace into one of my own stories, so I came up with two central ideas to accomplish that. One: put the characters into new, terrifying environments. Two: add animal companions with supernatural abilities. The result was a race called the Brimstone Bleed, and a book called Fire & Flood. I hope you enjoy it!'
